No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools. Fonts are stored on this website itself; no data is sent to Google or other font services.

Hosting

The website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. (USA). When you open a page, GitHub processes technical data such as your IP address, the time of access and your browser type in server logs, in order to deliver the website and protect it from attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). GitHub participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. More: GitHub Privacy Statement.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, your name, email address, optional company and message are sent through Web3Forms, a service of Web3Creative (Kerala, India) with servers in the United States, and forwarded to my email inbox. According to Web3Forms, form submissions are not stored there; server logs are deleted periodically. More: Web3Forms privacy policy.

I use your data only to answer your message and delete it when it is no longer needed. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box in the form; it also covers the transfer of your message to Web3Forms outside the EU (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time.

This website links to my LinkedIn profile. It does not embed any LinkedIn content, so no data is sent to LinkedIn unless you click the link. After that, LinkedIn’s own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (HmbBfDI).
